Finally a place close to home, went to Banff today and roads out there are almost as bad as they are now.

Heh hate having a dirty car as I probably will leave it parked for a bit until the roads light up a bit.

New carwash in Country/Harvest hills is nice! open 24/7 and this place is WARM! I was washing my car in a T-shirt and it was still cooking in there. For all you northwest folk, no need to run down to 10th and 10th :)

i first wash it down with 2 coats of soap, than rinse it off for 6 min than i do 2 rounds of spot free than i wax it and rinse that off, than i have to buy rags to wipe it down. than i clean out the interior and wash the floor mats. i do this at least once a week as long as it isn't really cold out.

I think I scratched my car using dandy blade, gotta be careful with those things.

I have no idea where that area is, but if the place is heated I'm willing to drive up there to wash my car when it gets dirty, sounds like a good place.

I think I know where you're talking about, it only takes me like 20 mins to get there so it's not to bad, I've got a friend who lives pretty close so i could wash it whenever I go up there, cool. The mcdonalds your talking about is right by that ski hut thing right?

yep thats where the car wash is. thats where i always wash my cat. its heated so you can let your car dry in there if no one is waiting behind you. the only bad thing is that with the snow your car will stay clean for for about 5 min. oh well i always have a rag in my car.

For wash time I think the best place is still the carwash in front of the walmart deerfoot mall. I think it's on 64th?

It's like over 2min per loonie! I am able to do a pre-soak, soap, foam brush and a rinse with only $3!

I want to check out that country hills/harvest hills one though since it's closer. The nearest one is the beddington esso and their wash times suck.

The Harvest Hills one is awesome Jeff...! I think its better than the 64th ave one... :)

i checked out this new car wash tonight and it was closed, didn't someone say it was 24hrs? There are hardly any signs showing you were exactly it is in the complex.

ecstasy_civic
01-04-2003, 01:05 AM

Hmm... the times are weird... I went and washed my car there at 2:00 am and it was still open the other night, yet when I went again at 1:15 2 days ago, it was closed... :dunno:

boi-alien

Premium costs more and the only difference I notice is that you get this multi-color, 3-stripe, jizz stuff that it shoots on your car. (Like Aquafresh) :D

The Mohawk on 14 St NW just north of Kensington Rd is 24 hrs. I like their single wash bays.

Gives lots of time for your money but there's no digital timer.

yeah i live in edgemont so this new wash is closer than 10&10...24hrs is ideal, but late at night I still love cruising downtown with a shiny car rather than through country hills
