Hey guys,
I was looking for a new car and think I found the one I like. I've made an offer that has been accepted, and the car is going into the shop for an inspection tomorow. The car is very mint. It has 130km and has barely a rock chip. I had a bodyman check it out and he says it has a very high quality repaint, it is straight and has all orginal body panels (VIN's, everything lines up, no collision damage).
I went to the registries to do a background check and had a bit of a suprise. It seems like it has had many owners. I know it was purchased in Victoria (stamped manual), and sometime after it went to Alberta. The registries shown it registered as follows:
1995 - Rocky Mountain House
1996 - Rocky Mountain House
1997 - Calgary
2001 - Calgary
2002 - Edmonton
2003 - Edmonton
So it seems we're looking at at least 5 previous owners, maybe even 7! That's a lot. My question to you guys is, does anybody know the car and its history? Is there something wrong with that I should know about?
The car is super clean, I took it for a long drive, and it's really nice, so ultimately I'll get it if the inspection works out... unless some one screams at me saying not to buy it!
BTW, mod list
