Has any one have any problems insuring a modified vehicle?

I bought a semi modified car and when I told the rep the car was modified they immediately got back to me with a "We'll have to get back to you as we have to check with off-market." They won't be able to get back to me today and will take until next week.

Does anyone know of a broker that won't have a problem insuring a slightly modified car?
