Well are they? I saw one a couple months ago online and uit was rwd, (you could se it doing a burnout) But were all those celica's like 1989 RWD? THX guys

No. I think only 1st and 2nd gen were RWD. the rest are FWD or AWD.

I believe the ST-162 was the last of the RWD celicas, they were replaced by the ST-182 & 183 in the late 80's and have stayed front-wheel drive since. It might have been a GT4 AWD version you saw? :dunno:

The 3rd generation Celica's was the last to be RWD...after that FWD and last but not least...AWD

could have been awd and he just put block off plates in the front axle holes in the transfer case :dunno:

Musta been an alltrac, coulda just had better tires in the front, who knows
