About 2 weeks ago I was sitting on a buddies shitty ass couch for a long time, and my leg started to go numb... no biggie, figured it just kinda fell asleep. The numbness lasted for about 3 or 4 days, and I took my wallet out of my back pocket in this time. Seemed to work, and my leg went back to normal. Since then the numbness will come and go a bit.... not too bad, but I notice it. Some days its fine, some days its a little numb.

Is it possible i just screwed up the nerve the first time and its gonna take a while to heal? Should I be concerned?

Where is the numbness in your leg? I have that right now, and its on my outter thigh on my left leg. Ive had it on and off for about 3 years now, and in the last 2 months its been getting incredibly painful, almost to the point I have to stop when I walk and crouch (seems to help me) I went to the doctor and he said I have a pinched nerve in my hip, and have to go to a specialist for it. So right now Im on a waiting list.

Id say give it a week, and if its still there, go to the doctor

Its at the back of my thigh, and the feeling goes down the rest of my leg towards my foot. If its something wrong with my nerve, I'm cool with it, I was just a bit scared of a bloodclot or something. Thanks alot for the info, and I hope you get fixed up!

I'm going through this right now.

If it's going all the way down into your foot, it could very well be Sciatica.

Type it into google and it will give you lots of information on it.

Sounds exactly what I had , I pinched a nerve in my leg and I always got pins and niddles and it hurt like a bitch..

I went to a Phsyio and he did amazing work to it.

It hasnt hurt for over a year now.

its something to do with your lower back, my gf is a massage therapist, and she fixed my grandpas problem of 6 months, same thing and nobody could accuratly diagnose it. turned out he has a compressed disc in his lower back. sometimes its a disc, sometimes a nerve, sometimes its nothing but a stiff muscle.

but id reccomend getting it looked at.

In the case of a disc, the disc bulges and pinches the nerve.

It's the nerve causing the pain, but it's the disk causing the nerve the pain.

But go see a doctor - the longer you wait, the longer it will take for the treatment (Physio, chiro, what ever you choose).

maybe try acupuncture?

i dont suggest looking up your situation on google, there is too many things out there that might seem the same as yours, so best bet is to see a doctor asap
