ok so i was driving around today and started thinking about taking all the pros from every import car and putting them together for one kick ass car....what would yours be?? Now it has to be from cars you d see everyday on the road around Alberta... no tking super exotics here...lets say MSRP new can t exceed
50 grr

For me i do go with something like this...

Body- I really like the looks of either a wingless new tiburon or a 3rd gen rx7

engine- either the 4g63 from a dsm/evo or 3rd gen supra

drivetrain- i LOVE awd so i d go with probably the sti since the dsms (at least 2nd gens) have crankwalk issues

interior- i love the interior of my Stealth...very driver oriented

exhaust- dual fart cannons but no more than 3.5"

oh ya and the fuel economy of a jetta tdi ;)

That's quite the wishlist...

Hmmm...

Exterior - Infinity G35 Sport Coupe
Engine - 93+ Twin Turbo Supra
Drivetrain - 6 Speed Supra
Interior - The infinity G35 Sport Coupe
Exhaust- Dual 3" exhaust

And... fuel economy of an old Geo metro :D

dual equal rice....don t think so....

stock dual cars....
350z
stealth
3000gt
and virtually all old muscle cars....hardly rice.... anything over 3.5 or really 3 for that matter could be classed as ricey

dual=ricey?

and notice all the cars you listed have V-6's, and 2 actual exhaust manifolds, or two turbos.

you wanted dual exhaust on an inline motor, aka RICE

Quit labelling, who cares if its "ricey" or not.

finboy....

true the listed cars are 6's BUT.... only the old muscle cars are true dual..... for example, my stealth is fake dual... yes fake dual. Off of each turbo comes a pipe that joins and makes the downpipe which then goes to a muffler, out of which comes another pipe to go to the other side...... SOOOO although stock dual, its not TRUE DUAL like the old days.

But i see what your saying...... i guess i thought i added the 6g72 engine from a 3S....upon scrolling up i see I was wrong and forgot to list it....

bah, if you want to go really hardcore, just dump the downpipe infront of the front wheel :burnout:

i agree with dc 5 itr interior, but why not just get an s2000

more power, properly built rwd.

bb6 is for fwd, as much as i'd love it to be rwd, i couldnt imagine it as a rwd...

well of course u'd totally change the mechanisms to suit RWD. i just like the prelude looks better than the s2000, but yes, the RWD prelude would pretty much be an s2000, but with 4 seats and a nicer interior (and come with 17 inch rims standard, 5 spoke) :).

Heh oddly enough people who don't know much about the car sometimes assume its RWD. I think the styling would be well suited to a 300hp V6 turbo

But ultimate import would have to go to this car...

Sweet, can't believe someone mentioned the Tommy Kaira! Nice pics too.

Mine would be a 1988 Civic, with a rocket propellor engine mounted in the hatchback.
And carbon mirrors.

my car would look like a Talon, have 500 horsepower all-motor on a 20B rotary, be rear wheel drive and midengined.

Ok this was what I saw as a dream car (quite a while ago back when i don't even own a car)

body: 91 eagle summit 4 door (Mitsubishi lancer)

chassis: C65A (?)

color: white/black bumpers

suspension: OEM Mitsubishi front macpherson strut/ rear multi link

engine: 4g15

tranny: 3 speed auto

exhaust: stock 2 inch tail pipe

wheels: 13 inch steelies w/ silver hub caps from Partsource

tires: 'Sears' 155/60/R13 all season

interior: vinyl panels + cloth reclining bucket seats with a few rips here and there (making it looks rough and tough), Touring Items Type R cup holder

safety: self-fastening 3 point harness with innovative center rear seat 2 point harness, enabling transportation of 4 passengers + driver

ICE: Kenwood KDC-4020 head unit w/ in dash 1 speaker system (unknown wattage, head unit allowing usage of CD's)

max power/torque: 60/negligible

0-60mph: too long to count
0-100mph: never been there

Price: < $2000 CAD

And the best thing of all is that this dream has came true...I have owned this as my first car! I was so happy when i first got it that it doesnt matter it was underpowered and underequipped. hehe...

Everything from a TT supra. 94+ cause they had better gear ratio. One thing would be to upgrade the suspension. Make it the subaru wrx sti susp. Also get double pipes like on the 3kgt vr-4. That would be :bigpimp:

ok so list for ultimate import would be...

body- 1990 honda civic 4 door (i own one now, gotta rep it)

engine- K20 turbo (setup like the 500 hp civic on the cover of sport compact car mag, may or june 04)

suspension- 90 civic, handles like a go-kart, need to drop about 1.25" to 1.5"

interior- just like my old 1996 ford taurus (my first car, it was a POS but i liked the interior, just need some racing seats, maybe some Sparcos:D

paint/exterior upgrades- silvery silver paint (forgot the real name for the color, lol, but it kicks ass), an agressive, yet subtle, body kit; spoiler from integra type-R, and projector headlights

exhaust- i dont need dual exhaust, but i think it looks cool so why not

fuel economy of 90 civic

oh yeah and the six speed tranny from Celica GT-S (very reliable)

holy hell i just realized this was a canadian site! lol oh well yall are cool, yall play hockey

T-Dubbs

engine- bmw v-12

Exhaust: 3" with X-pipe
Suspension: Saleen
Drivetrain & Tranny: 6-speed, RWD
Gears: 4.10 :D
Paint: Red with full-blown oragne pearl
Hood: 2.5" Extended Cowl
Spoiler: Saleen (no brake light)
Rims: Chrome 19" Cobras w/Pirelli 285/19ZR30
Breaks: 15" vented
Interior: All black, reclinable leather Cobra seats & Chrome rollcage

If I had nothing but time and money...

92 Integra, B18C1 fully built and tubo'd... tuned to about 400HP, engine mounted behind the front seats and driving the rear wheels. 50/50 weight distribution, full chassis bracing. Curb weight ~2000 pounds.
