Can anyone suggest a place in town where I can get a set of tires mounted balanced, but I don't have to spend a fortune to have it done.

I don't know if they are the cheapest... but Kal-Tire is $13 a tire, FYI. I recommend them for the service, but I don't know how the price compares.

if you have nice wheels, take it to Tirecraft by hooters on Macleod, only place I would trust! :)

Costco will only mount tires that you bought from them now. Changed policy this past winter.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned poor boy tires

In the SE beside autovalue. Great group of guys, friendly and they all have their own rides that they mod.

Buying tires from them isn't the cheapest, but I think they charge 7.50 for balancing and 7.50 for mounting

find a kid in high school and have him do it for free!! (make sure he knows what he is doing first though it isn't hard)
