Currently I own a 1993 Talon TSI and ive had nothing but bad luck.. I know i know its what i get for buying a dsm.. Anywyas im sellin my car soon and ive always loved the ferr like looks of the MR2. I was wondering what are the usuall problems that i should look for in a 1991-1993 MR2 non-turbo. Im not lookin for speed really i just want a nice ride.. im done with speed for now. Also how much will i be spending about on a under 130,000 km mr2 from the early 90's?

There arent really any problems with the mr2 other than normal wear and tear. Expect to pay 10-13 for a non turbo car. Why not just import a turbo from Japan though for 1/2 of that?

What about maint. Is it anymore then my talon? I ask becasue ive heard horror stories of having to take the engine out to do a clutch etc..

The timing belt doesnt need to be changed religiously like it does on a talon. I have heard that talons are alot less reliable. The clutch job isnt bad at all, its no different than doing the job on a fwd car. Visit www.importconcern.ca for cars and prices. Good luck with your search
