Monitor problems

Hey all,

need a little help with my monitor. Seems that the color seems to be a bit wonky on it, and i think its actually the monitor starting to go.

On the left side of the screen there is a faint thick green bar that runs from the top of the screen to the bottom. Basically only goes away if you turn the brightness WAY DOWN so its really dark, or you give the monitor a good smack lol.

Not sure if it needs to be replaced or if its fixable. Suggestions?

hey man i have kind of the same problem(not really.. but a monitor problem).. my screen gets all fuzzy.. like it seems like it goes a little cross eyed.. and sometimes its still there when i restart.. and when i beat the shit out of the monitor and pc for 1-2 hours.. it goes back to normal for 78 seconds or so.. whats the deal

Well, it can either be one of the guns, or the cable.
Probably not worth repairing with the cost of most CRT's being under $300 now.
If you do want to pursue repair, check out SOS monitor repair, they are right close to Varsity Dodge and Golden Acre.
