I hate to ruin any surprises related to my car but this just came in tonight. My cf body parts tally is now up to 5. Only 2 more items are needed.

What I have
Cf headlight covers
Cf hood
Cf windshield wipper cowl
Cf trunk lid
Cf 94 wing

What I need
Cf engine lid (currently being made)
Cf t-tops (still waiting to hear on production)

Hehe what you might not like to hear is that all the cf will be painted to match the rest of the car other than the wiper cowl and t-tops. Ill be using the 94 wing for street and I think Ill pick up a trd wing for track.

Ryan was buying the cf trunk cheaper than getting holes filled?

Its going to cost me 600 to have my holes filled an painted, and was wondering if it is cheaper to get a cf trunk.

Hey Sam, since I don't have a windtunnel I have to assume that the TRD wing will give me the extra downforce I need to keep the rear end down and avoid any huge oversteer problems. Im not sure how effective it will be but it's worth a shot, DavidV useless a similar but more aggressive setup.

The trunk lid was definitely worth it, it cost me $606 CND shipped from HK plus $25 to wire the money to the guy. It's about the same as having the holes filled except with this Im getting cf and I know that I dont have a welded batch job filled with bondo on my car. It was an easy choice to make. The only problem is cf is addictive.:D

They replace the plastic not the glass, Im not sure how you lock them though. You have to have a glass shop remove the glass, its quite the process.

Nice...Ill let you know, Ive never seen painted CF either, anxious to see how it turns out. I just emailed my CF guy, he now has the engine lids ready to ship out. :clap:

Hehe thanks man, the car is not too far from completion. I could probably drive it today if I wanted too however it's been sitting for 3 years and when I bring it out I want it to be done right. Everytime I visit an mr2 board I see a part I want and that delays the project even longer. Right now IM talking with bodyshops to have the car brought in for paint. After that I wait for my rims to come in so it's not too much longer.

Hey Sam, I think I'm going to keep all my OEM parts, you never know when I might need them again. Sorry:(

Shit man thats a clean setup, we have the same exhaust as well. Did you notice a difference when you added the cusco bar? I'm picking up a CF JIC bar so and using my xbrace as well so Im hoping it will improve it from stock.

Thanks. Haven't really put the 2 through the paces yet. I just installed the bars yesterday.

Be fore warned, the NUR spec is LOUD!!! You'll love it though, I have it mated to a 3" Aussie Speed DP, turbo spools so much more freely and hits hard.

Hey GT-FOUR where did you get your K&N from? Every time I have tried to buy a generic cone filter in Canada they have told me that they are only allowed to sell car specific filters. My Apexi works but it is way to small.

Well things have been a little slow around here lately. Then if you combine that with the fact that race season is pretty well over. Then if you throw in the fact (even though I know you guys are in deep denial about it) that we are due up for a change of seasons. And on top of that I got a new scanner.

Well it just seemed like a great time to start tossing up some teasers of some of the projects big and small coming up in the near future and in the distance. This is just a taste of what will be coming between now and spring.

I know it is lame to use a scanner to take pictures but if I buy a camera it is gonna be $1000+ and if I am gonna drop that much money right now it is gonna be on car parts. Got to have priorities don't you know.

BTW all I can say is that it is a good thing I didn't have a block laying around.

Few new parts picked up a new ac condensor and radiator both oem toyota to freshen things up. Picked up this battery to loose some more weight and bought a cusco roll cage. I didnt bother installing the 2 rear bars for the pics but its is a 6 point. Also I think I put the front bars on wrong..but you get the idea.

The plan is for 200whp, ill be happy with that setup, ive been told this could hit 230-240whp on 10psi...but 230ish and ill kill the gearbox in no time....so 200 would be nice.

I had to completely remove the ebrake assembly from the car and dremel it down until the momo one fit. I have a boot to put on just haven't got around to that yet.
