View Full Version : ENGG 201 Formal Report Formatting

Are there any 2nd/3rd/4th year engineers willing to help me out? I need an example of a formal report so that I don't screw up the formatting. Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's the long and the short of it. If there's ever a chance to do a proof on an equation, or have extra equations, DO IT. The markers generally will give you higher markes based on overall content.

^ I found that second-semester markers are waaaay stricter than first-semester. My friend's first semester report was half wrong and he didn't even include units on his numbers. He got 95%.

I worked my butt off and only got 85...

Who knows. Maybe i just got a harsh marker.

But ya i got like 90 something on mine and i was in first semester so i guess you guys could be right about the easy marking thing. I still have mine saved on my computer if anyone whos in 201 wants to take a look at it... I think ours was a different experiment than the ones the 2nd semester people are doing.

Hmm.. that's odd I took it during the second semester a couple years ago I think I got about a 95 or so. Seems like all the mainlander fob markers usually mark easier when it comes to labs.
