I have had a system in my car for a while, but recently when i have it turned up loud and drive around then stop and get out when i touch the car I get a shock, not a major shock but more then an static shock, any idea what might be causing this.

It's normal, you are just grounding yourself on the car.

The static straps are they those things that hang off the back of the car at the bottom, cause if they are then they look like crap, i'd rather get shocked. lol.

we had this problem on some aleros and grandams.... sounds weird, but remove the seat, take the cover off, and place a sheet of downy or any anti static frabic sheet on the seat cushions (back and bottom).... will last about a year
