One of my bulbs is pooched and I am shopping around for a new set. I either want a Philips 4300K or 6000k.
I checked out xenondepot.com and I wanted to see exactly how much I would be paying and the total came
out to an estimated $330+ (incl. shipping & handling).

Does this sound like a fair price for rebased philips bulbs?
Would you choose 4300k or 6000k?

Also, I looked on some HID sites and they claim to have a Philips 5000K.
I always thought that philips only made 4300k and 6000k:dunno:

any input would be helpful.

I would go with 4300K (lower K is brighter).

How about some prices?
Whats a reasonable price for a new set of rebased philips bulbs?
$300+?

They do have 5000k...it would be something like this 85122+...the plus sign means its a 5000k.

$300+ for bulbs seems a little pricey

Naw, that is about right. A real Phillips bulb is around $100 USD.

5000K is basically a pre-colorshifted bulb. 4300K bulbs will turn into 5000K bulbs within roughly 100-125 hours of use. If they're the same price and you want that slightly bluer look then go for them but don't pay more for 5000K bulbs.

$300 is about the average for a pair of rebased philips hid bulbs.
