IF it doesnt shift out of drive or neutral, how do you get the key out?

umm... you don't :( . but it has a different key for ignition and the doors so you can still lock the doors and have a key with you. and as soon as you install the new shifter it'll be fine.

The guy who sold it to me also included a skid plate for the gas tank, and one for the transfer case (I think), and a couple of spare wiring harnesses. That all comes with the sale.

Buddy, you should learn to read. I specifically explained what is wrong with this as far as I know. But I'll make it easy for you and repeat it. The SHIFTER ASSEMBLY (not transmission) was stuck, I fixed that tho. IT SOMETIMES HESITATES WHEN ACCELERATING FROM A STOP. I think it might be the INJECTORS or FUEL FILTER.

I hate when people ask "what is your lowest price" and then say "I'll give you XXXX"

threre's a place out by chestermere where they have lotsa used jeep stuff. anything this needs should be there and cheap. this is a running car, just needs to be fixed up a little here and there. $825 for a 175k, descent looking, loaded suv
