I have a 1Ghz G4 12-inch Apple iBook. I have barely used it since I bought it a couple months ago... charged it about 4 times so less than 35 hours of use total. Installed in it is a 512MB RAM upgrade and Apple Airport Wireless. I also have a slim fit case for it.
I am looking to see if anyone is willing to trade a similar-valued and performing PC laptop for it. The iBook is an amazing, very thin laptop with amazing battery life. I am totally satisfied with it except I have several types of windows software I need to run as well as two serial devices (it has USB but no serial port).
The RAM upgrade cost me about $300 and the case was $50... you can see on Apple's website how much the iBook goes for now... I paid a sticker price of something like $1300 bucks. I invested well over $1600 dollars and am willing to take a small loss on this one, so time to trade-up if you like Apple laptops.
Offers? MUST have a serial port.
