What is it? It’s a hand built British grand touring car with light weight fiberglass body work and a sturdy metal frame. It has a British Ford Essex V6 with a four speed manual gearbox (with overdrive). It uses lots of parts from contemporary British cars like Triumph TR6 front suspension, MGB rear brakes, etc. They were never sold in Canada so its a right hand drive. It presents no issues with registration and was a Calgary car. I know of two others in Canada.

This one is an early example (#508) SE5 series. It’s definitely a project car but complete. The paint isn't great, there are some fiberglass cracks, and it’s been sitting a little while. The interior is quite good. All the electrical stuff seems to function pretty well. It needs a front windshield to be installed (I have one - shared with Lotus Elan +2 so worth decent money by its self) and side glass on one side (I don't have it but its flat glass so easily cut). It also needs a set of keys. Currently not running - I believe its starter related – very possibly the solenoid. Engine turns over fine by hand.

It has:
• new oil, coolant and oil filter
• new spark plugs
• new battery
• spare fan belt
• spare oil filter
• 5 spare rims/tires
• Factory Workshop Manual on CD
• Practical Classics Restoration Manual
• Part substitution list on CD
• Front windshield with rubber

Parts are easy and reasonably cheap to get for the most part

I have no time for this car so its for sale for $1000Cdn obo. Located in Airdrie.
