as long as you have a valid license. But it is up to the dealership, if they wish to let you.

just bring your dad with you and they will usually let your dad teste drive it. so then you can switch afterwards and drive it yourself.
probably the surest way to get a chance to test drive a car

yep always bring your parents... I bought my parents to the Benz dealership and since i was doing all the talking they thought im the one getting the car and he actually offered me to test drive the C230 :D

Heck, this summer i went to southcenter fine cars, they let me take a jetta, and my buddy take old cabrio at the same time, buy our selfs... we where 17.... then i went to silverhill and took a gsr for a test drive... I am not ever going to be able to drive another car on that lot till the day i die :D (but i do love v-tec)

Last January when the Spec V's came out me and my pops went to Sunridge Nissan and they let me take it out all on my own as well...I loved that car and was SOOOO close to buying it but damn Nissan financing and their bitch ass rules! Went back the next day and test drove the same one with a friend of mine....they had no problems letting me take it out for a spin at all!

Well, technically, you're supposed to be 18 if you're allowed to go by yourself. If they come with you, it doesn't really matter as far as I know.
