Honda Prelude Meet

I thought with the date getting closer to the May 28th show, I thought I'd start a thread regarding this Prelude meet which so many of us have been discussing/awaiting.....

Tentative date: ~ couple of days before the May 28th show when our cars are ready and cleaned up (since a couple of luders will be in the show).

Schedule: meet up, go for a cruise and snap some pics. Date/time and place will be set soon.

Please post if you have some insight on what you wanna do.

Hey guys, I’ve just recently gotten a prelude and I'm somewhat new to beyond as well. I've just noticed all these Honda prelude meet threads and just thought I'd drop a line and say hi to fellow prelude owners, and maybe get some insight or tips in the future on working on and modifying this great car.

Although the prelude is still new to me, I've already got a ton of different ways I could go with the car in terms of performance and looks (don’t worry you’ll never any see chrome rims/fart can exhaust/4 foot wing on this lude). I was wondering if anyone had any tips of things to start off with and maybe mention some common problems or challenges that always come up with the prelude. Right now my car is pretty much stock, minus rims and a sound system. In the future I want to get both a body kit and turbo setup for this car but those are just plans now until I can learn enough about modifying the car myself and maybe get some small mods done (intake/exhaust/etc).

Khali if your interested I have 2 Rockford 10's in a custom box that's made to fit perfectly between the rear wheel wells.

the first mod I'd do is definately suspension. Bolt ons just aren't really worth the money for the amount of gains you get.

Edworthy would work, bring a football.!. I assume this is the exit off of #1 since you can get to the same park from Bow Trail and park on the south side of the river/railway tracks.

Are we going to drive somewhere else for a photoshoot since the parking lots there are usually pretty crowded?

i say if we are going to make a big trip to banff, why not go to lake minawanka, it has alot of picnic areas and great place for taking photos, unfortunatly the car parks get pretty packed. But on the plus side its a few minutes away from Banff. just a suggestion.

I second Minewanka but if we're going to do this close to the 28th I say we do this May 29 (Sunday) the previous is the long weekend and I know I have plans the entire weekend out of town as do most people .. An evening/after work cruise wouldnt really work .
