Is it time to replace the converter and get a tune up? The engine runs great except for the gradual loss in power. I have 64,000 miles on the engine.
I have noticed a definate power decline in my engine. I don't know if my catalytic converter is getting plugged up, but every time I turn the car off, I get this lound popping sound. I've traced it to the exhaust system.
