Did a quick chop of what the front lip would look like painted white.... and unfortunately it looks a hell of alot better.... i think.

Does it look better painted? or c/f?

white is better... but wouldn't it defeat the purpose of a carbon wrapped fiberglass piece???

Im not a huge fan of bare Cf but for some reason hondas can pull it off. Plus you already have the rear cf spoiler so I would keep it bare.

Painted lip for sure, it looks like you are missing part of your bumper when the lip is bare.

yeah, maybe if i saw it, it might look good, but what the picture makes it look like is that you are missing part of your bumper

I like it white, if the side skirts were also CF then you can leave it but I do agree, it looks alot better in white to me.

Why don't you sell the cf lip and buy a urathane one that you can paint.....

Come to think of it, I havn't seen any urathane lips that look like that for our cars....hmmmm??

Carbon Fibre hoods and trunks and stuff should be painted, but small accents such as lips or splitters should be left CF, just to show them off

totally agree.
i find that cf is mainly show piece's for street driven cars. so that painting them just ruins the purpose of "showing" them off.

Why?? Guess it comes down to personal preference.

I say keep it CF, otherwise sell and get a normal urethane lip. but you do have the CF spoiler, so i would keep the lip and all.

IMO, i like the CF look. but if you wanted a white one you should have bought a fibreglass/ABS plastic front lip instead to save you an ass load of money.

Painted CF is still CF - throwin' a coat on it doesn't make it non-cf ... But I think it looks better unpainted because personally I really like the look of CF, especially up close - it's nifty.

I say keep the CF because painted CF won't match the colour of your car and keep it .. it'll end up getting fucked up and look bad down the road if you aren't careful :|

Nice rims, btw.

Like its been said above, since the parts are just fiberglass overlayed with a sheet of carbon fiber for show, there is no point to painting over them. If it was a real carbon fiber part, then its understandable if you paint it, since the purpose of real carbon fiber is to save weight + add strength. I say sell this and buy a regular urethane or fiberglass part and paint that if you want the painted look.

dude no offence, but if you dont paint that thing white, your well on your way to becoming a ricer in my books, looks cleaner white too

From directly in front of the car, CF would look better. From the side, having it painted makes it match up with the skirts, and it looks way cleaner. I'd probably paint it

I'd go with white. I know CF is rice-boy chrome, but in this case it just looks so much cleaner with white.
