6 speed, slotted rotors, 5.7L engine is what i noticed right away...

also crazy good looking for a pontiac both inside and out...my only complaints is that the seats look pretty unsupportive, the steering wheel is wiggity wack, its too bubbly, oh and its a pontiac...

It looks pimping but yeah I always find that problem with pontiac seats as if they were made for your bigger typical older american men.

Aside from that I don't mind the car that much. Any ideas as to what this beast is going to be costing?

This shot looks kinda like a Volvo C70 with a dash of J-body for good measure:

They even spelled "litre" right!

Brake lever isn't in a good spot and the rear would look better with a dual exhaust.

Otherwise, it looks nice.

Would way rather have a late 60's GTO. Those cars look and perform incredible right from the factory.

Yup, she needs duals and larger pipes too.

I think the theme is "import styling with domestic power"

Doesn't that car have dual exhausts already? I kept looking at the exhaust and I can swear I see two small ones next to each other. Or maybe the car is just huge.

Is this a RWD car? What does it weigh? Pontiacs in general seem to be pretty nasty.

Btw, dual exhaust tips look rice to me.

I really like it. Very innovative styling...

Hopefully it won't carry the same crazy price tag of the thunderbird...

Not a bad looking car but I don't think it should carry the name GTO. It looks more like a import than an american muscle car.

This is the original GTO. Pontiac swiped the name, which btw stands for Gran Turismo Omologato.

Ferrari took exception to Pontiac's use of the GTO name when the car came out in the mid 60's. Pontiac arranged a test between the two cars, but the GTO broke down on the way to the track so they sent one of their huge Catalina's in its place. It understandably got smoked on the track but it out-dragged the Ferrari.

The high performance Holdens are well known for being able to hang with the M5, both in terms of handling and acceleration, for a hell of a lot cheaper. It's about time GM came back with a rear wheel drive, V8 powered sedan.
