bump, i still have this, i also have a ibm thinkpad 380E that i will sell for $100 firm. i do not know the specs on this laptop as i do not have the time or parts needed to make it 100% functional, i know that it does fire up when plugged in, and you can boot in to the bios, so all of the important stuff still works.

and i am changing the price of the original 390e laptop to $150 firm

or $200 firm if you take both.

well i had windows xp and photoshop running on the 300mhz, it was painfully slow, but i am sure if you put like 98 or soemthing on it it would be much better.

dont expect anything spectacular, if you just need soemthign for word processing and such then this is for you, anythign more extensive than ms office and the internet and you'd be better off lookign elsewhere...

i would perfer to sell them together. if possible.

also i only have one power supply between the 2 of them, so as of right now whever buys the 390e will get the power supply. but as i said, i would perfer to sell them together.

If installed right and kept spy-ware/virus free then the 300mhz with XP SP2 stripped down a little could do your word processing, net, MSN/Yahoo, etc.., the basics.

This stuff needs to go as i am moving at the end of the month. it would take nearly no effort to get these things up and running, or if you are a hobbiest there are tons of good parts on them, just the lcd's on these things generally sell for like $100...

Lots of interest, no cash, first one with cash in my hand takes them away.

will also entertain trades of a BBQ or a shed... and perhaps power tools (grinder, good 1/2" drill, perhaps other stuff)
