View Full Version : Any way to import a new 2005 MR2 Spyder?

Hello all,

I checked the list of vehicles admissible from the US (http://www.riv.ca/english/US_vehicle_admissibility.pdf) and the MR2 spyder is not accessible into Canada. Is there anyway we can import cars into Canada (similar to the Evo(s) I see in vancouver) that are not allow from US due to poor bumper crash standard?...

and how much does it cost...

Register and insure the car in the USA, then drive it down here. That is the only way.

Legally, it can't be done. Period.

You'd have to be a US citizen and have it registered down there.

the Toyota is not legal for import because apparently Toyota is under trade protection.. but why would you want to import the '05 MR-S? ugly ugly car :)
