Window Tinting

New to forum. Where do you suggest I go to have good quality, well priced window tinting. Seen remarks regarding Icon, Tintmaster. Don't want bubbles or seams. Not sure how dark to go either. Recommendations anyone?

Id say Icon Window tinting. They had bubbles that lasted 10 days on my car, but they're perfectly gone now. they're in the NE. Also, some will say Tintmaster.... Icon was $250 for 7 window. A decent price

*edit* The question on how dark to go is personal preferance. There is a list of possible tint at Icon, and I have their "limo" on my back 5 windows, and their "medium" mon my front 2 windows.

thanks. Did you have to go back to have the bubbles taken out or did they "just take care of themselves"?

I can also vouch for ICON.
I have the same tint as Kirbs. Limo back, medium sides. and it looks great! good price too. i paid $200 for 7, but i think that was the World O' Wheels special.

wow 4200 thats one hell of a good price :thumbsup: theres tons of threads that have pics and places where to get tint done http://forums.beyond.ca/images/top_search.gif . my personal opinion is to get medium (20%) in the back and light (35%-50%) in the front i dont really like the pitch black look

dash autographics in airdrie, a guy does it out of his garage but he does AMAZING work.

200$ to do all the windows on my k car (before it got stolen) which was a total of 7 windows and it came with a life time warrenty

they took care of themselves, and looking at it now, i dare someone to find an imperfection in the tint

i found one!>> it looks like u couldnt get the fronts to match the factory tint kuz u didnt get the same all around, thats just as bas as not doing the fronts at all imo

if ur gonna tint get the same all around

Thanks all, I've called around too, but have decided to go with ICON. I'm sure I'll be happy with the results.

Man, wtf do you two know? Its personal option as to how someone wants to tint their car, and from a distance, you can barely tell my car has 2 different tint shades. At the time I got it down, I thought front window tint was illegal, so I went with a lower %

HAD SOME BUBBLES FOR 5-6 DAYS ALL GONE NO

He gets $178 all the time because he is probably white and talks like he is black so the cop just throws him the tickets for everyting he has done wrong. Yes its illegal to have your front windows tinted, Yes some cops will give you tickets for it, but if your driving at 10 at night, like a civil person not like you stole it and you dont got no fart can on the back of your ride then you won't get a ticket as the cop as no real reason to pull you over.

nope its still illegal my friend got pulled over the other day i think it was $50, but we talked to the cops and they said that nowadays its hard to give tickets for lighter tint since most vehicals come with it already. my friend had like 5% on his sides but the cop was nice and didnt give us a ticket just said to pull it off
