hey guys give me a hand..i try a 88 mr2 N/A last friday and i almost cry...i m 6 foot 3 and i don t fit..i have the leg in the steering..the seat was back as much it s possible..what can i do guys..i m sure there is somebuddy who are tall and drive mr2 88-89...i will like to try againt and see waht i can do..i m from edmonton alberta..i will like to have help to figure out what is my option...because for now my only solution it s going with the 91 turbo model...thanks

I guess your only real option short of chopping off your legs is an aftermarket seat setup :)

what s the size off the steering wheel..if i m swapping it for a smaller one and what about the original seat if i m bolting it on the floor ..somebuddy have a idea..i will like to keep the original seat..they are nice.

Friend of mine .... he is 6'6 he had a 88 SC mr 2 ... but .. damn .. he looked so funny when he was in the car ! he ended up get a 86 ! :nut:

I think best option is to get aftermarket seat and steering wheel.
Im not really sure about bolting the stock seat to the floor, wont be adjustable and you'll be the only one that could drive it... (Just incase anything happens, you might want another driver, He'd have to be the same size as you basically.) Im guessing anything smaller then stock would be better. Try gettin' an aftermarket seat first, before steering wheel if your tight for cash :x

i will like to give a 1 feet to someone who need it but after reflexion i will keep it.i dont rely plan to let the car drive by someone else than me..i hope to find a solution because i want this car mr2 sc...soo nice...question for those guys who are like me...tall....do you have the same probleme as me...

Ya I have the same problem with a lot of cars as long as they have a sunroof usually my slightly touches the roof and Im 6 3 too

I have a difficult time trying to fit into a 240 as well, I think it is a curse for any tall people who's trying to fit to into small size Jdm sports car. I end up changing the steering wheel for my 240 to get more leg room....I wonder what would Shaq or Yao looks like in a mr2? or even in a miata??

i had this morning a mr2 87 at my disposition...soon i sell my car i will buy a mr2 sc..i will just change the steering wheel and i will be ok...i m so happy....

There are a tonne of differences between the two cars, but they're still the same basic car.
