Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me out here, I have a Sony DCRPC101 miniDV camcorder. The problem I am having with it is that on playback, it skips. I bought myself a miniDv head cleaner tape and cleaned it as much as I could but problem still persists. Anyone out there experience this with their camcorder? Is there anything I can do? Or should I go to a sony service center and have them check it out? I called the local Sony Service Center in town and the guy told me $125 but if all they are going to do is clean it. It would seem kind of steep. I would like someone's opinion who knows of this problem so if there's something I can do to save myself some cash. Or if anyone knows someone who can fix it for less, that would be great also. Thanks.
