Be VERY careful when purchasing a car from this individual.

I bought an mr2 off this guy a few months ago. He had it inspected and showed me the form. The inspection said the car was clean but it couldn't have been farther from the truth. I think he actually knew the mechanics or either payed them off. In fact when I tried to call them they even tried to deny that they inspected the car and said they would not look in their records for the inspection!! I totally regretted not getting it inspected from a mechanic I trusted. To make a long story short I shouldn't have trusted this guy since he does his own work to the car. He takes short cuts. I tried calling him several times to get some help about the wiring and he would always dodge my calls. I'm just letting everyone know because I don't want you guys to get screwed over like I did. Now I really don't know how much he has done to this lude but either way you should deal with this guy cautiously.

before i bought the car, i had the car inspected.. the mechanic said it was good. before i sold it i had it inspected again, everything checked out again with papers to prove. and during the time in between i did not drive it because it had no insurance. im sure you can check that at the registry so don't bother saying i beat the car up.
i don't know what more i can do here.
you can go to the place where i got it inspected and ask them. i don't know them nor did i pay them off, i went there because it was close to where i live. i need not pay them off for an inspection, im sure the mechanic would be taking a huge risk if i actually had to pay them off for something i needed to hide and them having to risk you chasing after them for a faulty inspection. if they deny that they actually performed the inspection, then that's not part of my business.. i have no idea what they are trying to do. i have the paperwork signed from those guys.

as far as the wiring and most of the work on the car, it was done by the previous owner before me. i did not look at nor touch the wiring whatsoever so i can't help you with it, im sure you can ask all the people that do know me, im sure they will vouch that I don't take short cuts.

i welcome anyone to have cars inspected.

Also why did the VIN number for that car belong to a NA model and not a turbo trim?? A fellow beyonder even told me that the car was under suspicion after I bought it. By the way it is quite pointless in private messaging me months after since I no longer own the car. Funny how you got back to me in hours after I wrote something in this thread but I can't get a hold of you for weeks when I actually needed to.

lol wtf red99600, why did you leave DelSoln negative feedback for THIS sale thread? Not a very wise move to attract more attention to an already poorly handled situation.

That being said DelSoln, perhaps you should have made a seperate thread for this situation when the problem arose, not months after when you no longer own the vehicle. As with any sale, it is buyer beware.

Best of luck with your sale red99600, but I suggest in the future you handle your trade correspondence with more care to avoid negative feedback like this.

i bought car, and the seller told me it was the turbo model. what can i say. i never insured the car to have known.
whether i reply back fast or slow,
i never encountered any problems with the car, nor did i expect to have to provide tech support after a sale. i had to wait for a reply from the previous owner before i could give you info to "help" you out.

nevertheless, lesson learned... don't try to do too much to help because it will backfire.

i don't worry too much about the attracting bad attention since i'm 100% confident of the car
