Take it down to the wood for summertime!

If you carry your helmet with you, it provides an ongoing explanation for your helmet hair. Other alternatives include carrying a bb cap, bandana, fold-up stetson, or a grooming kit with you.

If you ride a harley, you can just have the hair dresser on your passenger seat fix it when you get to where you are going.

Won't a comb solve this problem? :dunno:

i dont ride but carrying a helmet could provide an excuse for my lazyness and spark up conversations with the ladies

I don't bother.. I have curly hair so it stays in place no matter what i do. Maybe they should make visor helmets :D

Ah - just a wee joke. Some Harley guys seem to tend towards style over substance, being about the pose, not the ride, and a few of them seem to push the furthest reaches of vanity - hence the accessory hairdresser joke.

The vices of other types of riders sometimes incorporate vanity (ie squids), but not usually quite to the same remarkable degree as Rich Urban Bikers.

I agree, working at a harley dealership, all the rich guys are gettin them as status symbols, but there is still a lot of ppl that ride harleys that are just about riding, and not looking like you own occ. :nut:

Totally. Some of the most hardcore -by that I mean riding day in day out weather-be-damned- riders have been on Harleys. I met one guy at a BC rest area riding a Road King and about to roll over 200,000 km.

I was just poking fun at the increasingly high ratio of well-heeled, two-wheeled vogue-boys who choose Harley as their pose-mount.

ya i meet some guys, they have bout... 350k on old shovelheads, which is amazing to say the least. Its funny to watch rich rig pigs come do my dealership, and not know how to ride a bike, and drop their brand new bikes, so funny

wow, im cruel :D

There should be enough room under the passenger seat to fit a mid sized purse. And in that purse you can carry some gel, a brush, make-up, lipstick, a mirror.... You'd be amazed how many things you can fit in the back of a bike! Personally, I prefer to keep my tools for the bike, but everyone their own I guess...
