need help with custom subwoofer box!

need some help with this
anyone has any kind of experience in making custom sub boxes on this forum?

my friend got a quote of 150$ from futureshop .. after his discount for a simple box..
so anything cheaper then that would be great :P

he needs a custom box for his car (00 mustang)
and i need one for mine too (88 celica)

88 celica:
main problem is the spare tire in the middle
and no i dont want to remove it

i have a lil plan for the celica's trunk but the mustang i am not too sure how he wants his done.. (2 12" enclosure for both probably)
celica could go down to 10" if 12"isnt possible

futureshop said 300..ish
anyone here actually makes custom boxes..?
i am done exams in 2 weeks so after that i can prety much help u out if u need help with something?

go check out derdall designs. they're boxes are awesome!

300 for a fiberglass custom box is pretty cheap. ABsound quoted me at 550$ for a box that mounts flush with spare tire well.

I am in the process of making the custom box myself. I have never dealt with fibreglass before, but there is a first time for everything.

Its pretty simple to do, its just very time consuming.
