i was worried there wasnt going to be a 600 for the SL series for a while...but alas, mercedes comes through with this bad boy.
In terms of luxury cruisers, this comes 2nd only to the cl600 and the aston martin vanquish if anything. Now if i could only win the lottery. (and if only it didnt weigh more than most medium sized suv's)

I think the SL55 still looks nicer, and SL55 has a higher top speed too.

The SL55 is more sporty with a harsher engine while the SL600 is super luxury and super smooth with exceptional quiteness while retaining the same performance levels as the SL55.

Hence, the LARGE price tag of the SL600 (easily $200K+ Canadian prices or the price of a Ferrari 360 Modena).

Twin Turbo V12... unbelievable.

i'd take the sl55, purely because it has a cheaper price tag than the sl600 and they have similar performance figures... and i do like the AMG bodykit, the quad exhausts and of course the AMG wheels

SL600 has has I think 80 more ft/lbs of torque than an SL55

612hp baby heh. Renntech has software for both the SL600 and the SL65 AMG to make 700-1000hp depending if you re-enforce the transmission (which is only good for a bit over 700hp).

The Renntech S600 (5000lb car) runs 11's.
