2 cars i saw the other day

what are these?, one looks volkswagoney but it had different types of lights....other was a huge boxy van type thing that ive never seen b4, had an apple logo on the back

iono it was either really changed or it wasnt a rabbit. i thot it was at first but it looked realy different...the logos were all off and it was lowered way down wit pretty big rims (for the size of the car) on it...

yup but totally painted over glossy black, all the tags removed, lights totally dif on the front(edit: i THINK they were dif, i was driving and saw more of the back than the front...)...and the tires were under the wheel well a lil...

i've never seen the scion in alberta but yeah that's the scion xB. the scion tC is way nicer. looks like a cross between the celica and an IS. I've only seen one in person and it was when i was in Vancouver.

I just did a search because a buddy of mine just got back from the U2 concert in Vancouver and said there's a crapload of Scions in BC plates... (I was under the impression they're not going to be in Canada).

If you want to take a look at one up close, charlesglen toyota in crowfoot is selling a yellow scion xB. It is in their underground storage lot, right across the road behind visions so you need a salesperson to take you to see it. I was told i could not drive it unless i put $2000 down and I had a serious intent to buy. they are asking $29000 cad :eek: the salesman told me it was a "release edition" so the price is very high! # 1682 out of 2500 I think. This price seems very high, I thought these were aimed at the "youth market"

Took a quick look at Scion.com and the base price of the Xb is $14,245 USD, which is roughly $18,000 Cdn. There is NO way there is $11,000 worth of extras on that car. I guess that $11,000 is a "Market Adjustment Fee" that EVOs, S2000 (at launch), new T-bird, McLarent SLR and other sought after cars have........... unless there is some hidden costs or something I didn't think of. Maybe really expensive options?? Doesn't look like it according to the Autotrader Ad.

Scion will not be made available in Canada, but the products may be offered within Toyota Canada's lineup at some future date.
