Anyone hear that the new pope was in Hitlers youth core building tanks?

All German's weren't Nazi's.

That might be equivalent to saying all Americans were Green Berets.

I think the Nazi's were a party WITHIN Germany, not the entire country.

^ Yep, if you were a youth in Germany, you were technically a member of the Hitler Youth. It was optional it first, but membership was mandatory later on in the war, IIRC.

Most kids were part of Hitler Youth under Hitler.

He was also dismissed because of his plans to join the priesthood, his father was against Nazi's, and he deserted the German Army in WWII. Don't really think he's a Nazi.

Plus he was forced to do more service (albeit minor things) later despite pursuing his priesthood. Nobody should care that he was forced into the hitler youth.

whatever, we all know that Hitler was Austrian and since austria caused world war 1 and 2 that means Austria is much more evil than Germany. There's this German guy across the street from me that's like 85 and talks about how he was a scientist in Germany.
