radio code

my battery almost died today after i forgot the lights for 8 hours..
i managed to get the car going though but the radio showed a code sign,,,where i can retrieve the code? is it in the manual?

its should be in your radio manual, there should be 2 cards on the back of the manual which you should remove and carry with you, now if its an used car and you have no record of the codes, then you might have to go to the dealership.

I lost mine, i went to Gallery and asked them for my code. As long as it's the stock radio that was in your car all along, they'll have the code for you ASAP. They didn't charge me anything either. Go to the dealership you normally have your car serviced at.

thanks all i went to bmw dealership but the parts department were closed...tehy told me i just have to bring my vin number

Well, did you go to the dealership you usually go to? I go to gallery, so when I went there, I'm just told em my name and they got me it.
