seems like there are not many in canada. is it just me or is there anybodyelse who likes to (and does)play with mercedes diesel cars???

i think mercedes diesels are the best things.
they last way longer than any other motors.
there is nothing to breakdown.

Oh lots of things break.... trust me. That is why I sold mine, too much crap breaking, nothing with the engine, just everything else in the car broke.

TDI's get better gas mileage, oil changes ever 16k, faster, and never have problems starting in cold weather.

Toureg TDI > CDI

V10 Twin Turbo, 550 lb ft torque. WOOT WOOT MRSP is like 85k
So probably close to what the benz costs.

Can't wait till we get more diesels in Canada.

mine is 89 190 its got 370K got no major problems so far.
its got lots for power. everything else on the car still works great, that includes abs, all lights, radio . power options, i mean everything and i get 1000 kms / tank. I got no complaints so far.
Maybe its caz i dont let any mechanic touch my car.

I am thinking to import a Jeep Grandcherokee diesel (its got mercedes engine) from england. Any thoughts on that??

I did all the maintenance on mine aswell, it had never seen a mechanic during the time I owned it :)

Not sure about the Grand Cherokee though.
