So I'm replacing an ancient (piece of crap) alarm on my motorbike and I'm looking for input. I've seen a few alarms so far and have my feelings about them but I'd like to hear what the other riders in the forum have and what they recommend. As far as my insurance goes, there won't be a break on my rates for installing an alarm so that isn't really a consideration.

So what do you have, how do you like it, what would you recommend?

Theft insurance. An alarm won't stop anyone from carrying your bike away, just a waste of money as far as I am concerned. You can get the locks that lock up your brake discs and will stop the bike from rolling, but again that won't prevent a few big guys from loading it in the back of a truck. Heard some of the newest models of bikes are supposed to be coming out with chipped keys like most cars have now and days. Not a lot you can do but park it in visible areas and keep it locked away when home. Good luck.
