K i got my integra back yesterday from the shop. I swapped a Jdm b20b into it. When i left the shop it was driving fine. But i noticed today that when i shifted into 2nd it wasnt smooth. And a lil when i was in 3rd. It sputters and when the rpms are higher its fine. BUt when its climbing it doesnt go smooth. My mechanic said that it might need new plugs. or the intake needs to be cleaned. He told me that before the swap. Does anybody know whats wrong. When i was comming home tonite it was really lacking the power it had before. :dunno: :dunno: :dunno:

Well did u check their suggestions? Take the plugs out and check.

Sounds like its getting too much fuel then in the higher rpms it is able to burn it, which would be an ECU issue if you ask me, but I could be wrong.

so your using the ecu from the new engine or old 1.8?
that could cause a problem with different sized engines.

Speedtech told you that you didn't need a new ecu? That is weird because in my opinion (i may be wrong because i don't know honda engines much) the ecu that is for that engine should be used. i am not saying that having a different ecu is the problem but it might be a good idea to get one for the b20b.
