sundance? cop cars? whats going on!?

I was on my way home from uni, and as i pull into sundance theres a couple cruisers at the petro canada, as u drive further 2wards flour theres 2 cars, and 1 driving around, if u take a left at the 4way stop sign theres another 3 or 4, on every street more...whats going on?

CFD, responded to the intersection of Sunpark Drive and
Sunvalley Boulevard SE for a report of a stabbing.

EMS transported one 24-year-old male to the Foothills Medical
Center with a stab wound to the chest. His condition is
considered potentially life threatening.

The Calgary Police Service is investigating.
