Hey guys, making up a new thread since there's so many updates and news with this truck.

I have a 1987 Nissan Pathfinder SE-V6 that I need to sell ASAP! I purchased this truck with 346K and now has 382,000 Kms and still running strong (engine). This truck is really good for someone that wants an all around beater or a lift project. It is VERY reliable, been there everytime I needed it. As well as 4WD, works flawlessly! Gotten me out of countless situations where I thought for sure I would get stuck.

Now, the huge issue here is the transmission. The owner before, towed some very heavy loads...tell tale signs are trailer brake, class 3 hitch. I guess that took its toll on the transmission or it could be the lack of..maintenance. I tried changing the oil but it did not help. The transmission knocks, howls VERY LOUD. Only in 4th gear is it quiet, all of the other gears howl including reverse. You can go to PICK N PULL and pull a tranny off another pathfinder and be good to go!

The engine does NOT BURN, OR LEAK a DROP of oil, which I find pretty amazing for an engine that almost has 400K. If you dont believe me, if you come look at it...I can start it when its cold and rev it right away. You will NOT see and blue smoke coming out of the tailpipe and I guarantee you that!

The front brakes need to be serviced, as well as some front end suspension work.

If someone picks this truck up soon enough, I will throw in a Bushguard W/lights, as well as front brake pads, and a front differential as well as some wheels with tires.

Asking Price is $900obo

Bump for an awesome truck, shame about the tranny though. I've been in it and seen it go strong for over a year now, definitely reliable and tough.

If i remember correctly, you have the OEM foglights on your truck. The upper brackets need to be bolted down inside where your foglights sit.

Couldn't I just replace the factory fogs with the ones mounted on the guard ??

How you doin btw. Long time no speak.

Too bad about the Pathy. Nice lookin truck.

Yeah, quite a bit...theres some "off roading scars"..all over the truck...dents, scratches, scuffs...and rust..quite a bit of it.

What other tires/rims are you running on that.

I'm still looking for some 15x7 rims and possibly some mt's.

Is there any rust on the frame rails or is it just body rust?

No rust on frame rails...well youll get the little surface ones in between welds and nuts and stuff like that. But the frame is in excellent shape.

Nufy, I have the Nissan Xterra 15X7 on it right now.

Damage to it has already been done, I believe the main shaft bearings or something...4th gear is quiet...everyother gear howls.

They're are back seats, they recline, and lots of leg room...you can stretch your legs out!
