The real problem is will you make it that long with subs blaring?

I dont see why they wouldnt. Dont pound them constantly on the highway, pound em a bit in sylvan if you want. just keep it low key on the highway, and you should be fine

Hell i drive 12 hrs with my subs going 3/4 with no problem. If your that worried about it you should get better subs.

its not only your subs you have to worry about, but can your amp handle it?... some amps have huge problems with heat, and don't like being used for extended periods of time.

They will handle it, if they do crap out on you they were getting old and should be replaced. A good, properly used, maintained and tuned system should be able to be played 24/7/365.

I play my stereo at 3/4 volume and that is pretty loud. No good for the hearing i know but it sounds to good. Anyway i have made trips to anyware like edmonton, lethbridge, even toronto. Thats 37 hours of driving time with is playing about 35 hours at 3/4 volume. Nothing has happened yet and my system is about 3 years old.
