...it wasn't that fast, especially considering it was on slicks. if the guy could shift a transmission, it would have done better. there is a Civic in Calgary that runs those exact numbers pretty much, and we are 5000 feet above sea level

11.75 @ 125 mph is not that fast??? Oh man. Calgary is at 3600 ft NOT 5000. Turbos are not affected by altitude as much as N/A.
It will be years and years before an RSX runs anywhere near that in Calgary if ever...

I have to agree, his shifting was fine. Also in my opinion any 4 cyl street car running 11's is pretty impressive. :dunno:

You sure that's a street car, I love the wonderful stall right before he stages... doesnt sound like a street tranny/clutch combo

oh its quick sure .. years and years before an RSX runs that here? there is a lot of money in this town, more and more with every passing year.. in case you haven't noticed the increasingly common S2000s, Corvettes, Benzs, and high performance tuner cars such as the top 10 imports you see on the front page of beyond. there will be an RSX this fast whenever somebody feels like it, which will prolly be sooner then later.

I know for sure there isn't a single FI RSX in town yet. Not many guys willing to do it. K series is still new. My opinion is Calgary won't see anything like that this year or next season. That's all I'm saying.

Crap well I guess I am wrong then :(

I was told that there are 2 in Edmonton and None in Calgary.
Leave a note telling them to sign on to beyond and dc5ab
;)
We need to have those guys come out to Race City and see what they can do. The N/A guys are already running mid 14s.
