Updated with that info.

Just a suggestion, but it might be a good addition to this thread to have pictures of cars that have had work done by the above shops and individuals. Even in process pictures, to show what kind of work the shop will put into a car.

That might help with repetitive posts, because really, this is only marginally more helpful than the yellow pages as it sits.

imho of course ;)

GT-FOUR good suggestion but this thread is for information of Bodyshops, not all shops will have pictures to proove their work is better, then people will be wanting estimates from this post, and everyone elses opinion, and it will be too large to keep to just information sizes, I can link off like I'm about to do for civicrider, but that will be it as it will be too hard to control and update with EVERYONEs projects and information, if you get what I am saying

Updated, new shop and civicriders pictures.

Took on GT's suggestion, went hunting for the pictures I know are out there and I have all the ones I know of, now I need user input to help build the collection.

do you also know the prices?

AllGoNoShow
05-29-2005, 04:53 PM
Prices change between anyones car, colour amount of work.

For example, Mikes mustang and DS Auto was $4600 he said if I remeber right, I could take my buddys mustang and it might be $300 for the same colour, or it could be $8000, all depends. Thats why there is #'s anmd Address', you drive and call and check them out, and they give you a personal quote. I know Mr. Touchup even comes out to you if needed.

Even if you're helping friends and not work at the place, it's advertisers only. Thanks. NO CONTACT INFO ALLOWED. Names of places are fine.

2004 and already paintwork? Are you a careless driver? Or have you been unfortunated enough to be hit by one of the city's many careless drivers?

No shop is perfect at all , i would recommend takeing your side skirts there , they are fiber glass gurus.

fiber glass gurus.... nope.

thats what they warped the shit outta and fucked up, my fiberglass grill.... they told me they can only get fiberglass to 80% thats all..... 80% of perfect.

plus they melted my bumper AND the paint isnt a perfect match.

Better then overspray all over the engine bay, wheels wells, on the seats, shitty preping or no prepping, spotting, running. Which is why one of the shops was removed.

Even AFTER he took it back to get everythign FIXED, its still the same, a little better but not much.

Mind PM'ing me about this then? That list took a while, a moderator stickied it, which I assumed it was then approved to be ok, its been up for god knows how long, and now its all of the sudden gone?

Rage2, what about just a list of shop names, along with peoples experiences with them?
No contact information and such, but just make it a thread where someone can go to and see peoples experiences with shops, and see what shops are recomended by people, and the such...

A-1 Autobody did my GF"s Ford Focus after it was t-boned and it came back looking like it came off the showroom floor. Absolutely flawless.
