It was a flooring company truck.

The company doesn't want to screw up their insurance so they want to pay cash, but then I don't get a rental so screw that. I figure if they want to do that they should pay my 500 deductable for the hit and run damage!!!

Go figure, that's what everyone says. Nobody wants to go through insurance....

Since it's a business vehicle, and your car is brand new, I would go through insurance. Get dealer quotes to match the paint perfect, and get a free rental out of it.
This guy doesn't want to worry about his insurance going up? He shouldn't have rear ended you!

Just make sure that you don't tell them about the other accident...worst comes to worst, they'll try and blame some of their damage on the hit and run. But if you want, you can say that some of the damage from the hit and run was caused by them! haha, but reall, if this gets bad, get a lawyer! Some guys will try and fuck you over and if you admit that your car was in a previous accident, they'll try and claim the most minimal damage...just for a heads up.

I already have an apraisal and a lot of photos from the first accident so I hope that won't be a problem.

Shitty deal.
If you're feeling sore from it (which looking at the damage, and your account of it all, you should be!), then most definately go through insurance. If he doesn't want his insurance to go up, then he should watch the fucking road.
Too late now.

Definately get your back looked at, back pain's a bitch. Not worth trying to save some guy $200 a year to have to deal with future back pain. Tough break. I know how you feel though, my car got hit 3 times in a 3 month period. 2 rear ender's and 1 side swipe. You know what they say, it never rains, it pours.

Sorry to hear man! But that quote above reminds me of when rage's car got rear ended again!

That sure sucks to have that damage on a relatively new car. I don't know how I would react if someone rear-ended me as I can be such a grumpy fuck.:D

I was actually suprisingly nice about it, but it could have gone either way. Atleast I didn't get pissed off and beat his ass, which definately could have happened if I lost my temper lol

Yeah, you better check the bumper (not just the cover) and make sure there's not structual damage.

Not if they hit frame to frame.

This is the second acident I have had that was frame to frame, and the car does't look to bad, but ur fucked if there is frame damage.
