You can probably build your own:

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11726&vpn=ME-740U2&manufacture=Bytecc%20Inc

+

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=11604&vpn=ST3160023A&manufacture=Seagate

= ~ $160 + tax.

You can probably find similar price in town.

If you want lower cost, Tiger direct is selling Maxtor 120GB for $70 right now but their MIR will take it down to $50.

Hey I have another question. Hey will this case hold all harddrives or just some of a certain size??

It'll hold any drive. Some of the cheaper USB enclosures only support up to 137GB (IDE limitation), so make sure they support ultra ATA to allow usage of larger drives.

Can you help me pick one please. Nothing too expensive around 80 or less. Thanks

Netlink is very reliable to order from. I've ordered from them on many occassions with great results. I think the last few purchase I made arrived within 3 days of ordering.

They're one of the more reputable Canadian online retailers.

Most should take PATA drives. As for the drive size issue, depending on which stock they gone, you may get lucky and get one with newer firmware.

(Acutally, one of the guys bought it a few days ago posted saying that it support up to 300GB).

Try local first, so at least it cost no delivery charge and easier to return if you have to.

best buy is selling an external hard drive for $150, I *THINK* it's a 160gb, or a 120gb.

The only downside of retail external drive is that it only carries 1 year warranty.

Building you own gets at least 3 years on the OEM drive and at most 1 year on the extenal case.
