I've seen four different sightings of spinners in calgary.
There's a white escalade, I forget what color.. vw golf (dark grey?), white jaguar, and a black explorer. Most of these were spotted in or near 17th avenue back when the flames had their stanley cup run.

Was it red? Theres a red Honda Pilot cruisin around with spinners, buddies a doctor, about 50 years old, and its his car. I installed the irrigation at his house last year. Funniest thing ive ever seen. He was too proud about it.

There is a kid with a black Chevy Suburban that rolls through my Tim Hortons. This kid is 16 and he got this from his parents. the spinner craze is getting out of hand. I mean, I can deal with the real spinners, because hey, they are somewhat neat (but rather expensive) and even though it's too bling, or tacky or whatever, it's still a sight to be seen when you do see them on the streets. HOWEVER.. there is a bottom line.. spinners really only look like they belong on big SUV's or luxury vehicles in my opinion.. not on a civic, or an echo or a jetta.

the hub cap ones are the funniest.. I dont even wanna know what goes on in people's minds as they pay for these things at the checkout. Like, are they getting them to get a good laugh out of them, or do they actually think people will think they're real spinners??

Kiwi and I saw a set of these hub caps on a white integra last week at Chinook!! he was missing a hubcap, so he only had three of these on his car. I was soooo tempted, I just had to walk right up and give one a good spin.. hahaha.. and they do spin real fast.. :rofl:
