Windows Media Player sucks because...

I upgraded to Media Player 7.01 and now I get this stupid square
logo in the upper right corner of the picture when mpg or mpeg
files are played.

How can I get rid of it? WTF is it?

It doesn't show up with avi, asx, asf, or wmv files. I've heard
that I can upgrade to Media Player 9 even though I'm running
Windows 2000.

The squares adapt to the picture so they're visible, no matter
what the background.

winamp is good for tunes but i dont like it for movies

those 9 srqs arent part on the player, ive seen em on other video files ran by older media player on something else. or maybe im wrong...

what if it has to do with the file? i kind of doubt it but maybe when you downloaded a video, the user did a video capture off a tv and may have got the 9 squares:dunno: :dunno:
