U hooked up the speakers wrong or the deck has a fried output

in my opinion its really hard to wire the speakers up wrong cause they are coloured so you just match them up....is there any way i can tell if i have a fried output?

U need a multimeter to test output

would that be the only possible explination for no sound....could there be anything else i can check?

try another speaker directly off of the out put.

i dont know if this makes a difference but when i turn the deck on and off the speakers kinda make a noise

one speaker is probably grounding out more than likely the one thats making the noise and this would cause the deck to go into protection hence no sound but everything else works

well...a fairly easy way would be to unhook all of the speakers form the deck. and then hook up 1 speaker, see if it plays music. turn off and turn on deck and see if that 1 speaker plays music. If it does that speaker is not grounded. Then hook up another speaker and see if it plays properly when u shut down and start up deck. When music stops playing u know that speaker is grounded or wired improperly.

Somewhere that wire will be cut and touching metal somewhere. Usually easiest at that point to replace the wires going to that speaker.

Perhaps best to bring it into a shop unless you got some patience.

If you can find the cut in the speaker wire you could just wrap some electrical tape around it and all will be good.

To bad ur in calgary, I would of been able to fix it in a few minutes, I had installed like 20 decks and am quick at it.
