all the ones you see are 90% SR20DET motor swaps. and the others are mostly ca18dets, both engines from japanese counter parts. prolly one of the most common swaps out there, the sr that is.

there are also a couple ka-t cars in town (turbo'd stock motor) but they built their own kits.

Alright so what would be smarter.. importing a 180sx already turbo'd thats one thing i want to do.. or buy a 240sx and do a motor swap from speedtech and it comes with the turbo?

Do you like your current car? If so, swap in the SR20 or CA18. Do you want a new car? Import one.

i dont have either one of them yet.. im deciding which would be better for me..

Importing a car can be a good way to go. A few guys on here (including myself) drive imported cars.

I love my car, and my engine. My engine only had 76K on it when I got it, not to mention some goodies that don't come here.

You can get a nice 180 or Silvia for $6000-$7000 easy.

BTW- they come with the CA18DET.

if u import a silvia, make sure its a silvia k...then has stock turbo.
