New Family Guy

I'm kinda surprised there's no thread on the new Family guy that aired on Sunday.

Did anyone else find that episode to be not very funny? There were funny moments, but it just wasn't up to par with the older episodes.

I thought it was great! The first clip where Peter listed off about 100 Fox shows that tanked was hilarious.

i found it hilarious! the fox part was great, the only criticism i have of it was the passion of the christ 2, that was kinda pushin it a little too far imo.

After being off the air for a few years, it comes back and it doesn't seem to have lost a beat, it is still offensive as shit.'

You can tell Seth McFarlene side with the right on religious bashing. Same with American Dad as well.

Anyone caught American Dad? I think it's pretty dry and doesn't offer much different stuff than Family guy. I think cancelling the remaing 4 episodes of Arrested Development for this is a waste.

The chicken fight was kinda unnecessary, they already did it, it was freakin hilarious the first time around, now they're just re-hashing ideas.

I thought the chicken fight was funny, even though it was the 2nd time around. If you remember the first time, the chicken "dies" and then when hes on the ground you see one eye open and dramatic music. (foreshadowing). The 2 scenes with God in them were amazing. Quagmire in the ladies washroom "giggidying", I was laughing so hard...

LOL.. Good EP.. Noone even mentioned the best part of the chicken fight... The Raiders of the lost Ark ending.. HAHAHAH I laughed hard. Indy was fighting that huge German And the prop killed him after a good long fight! Love the 80's references. I thought it was gonna be the blood spraying on the wing of the plane but it was feathers which was even funnier. :D
