Probably just the moving violation convictions. If you beat a ticket, it doesn't count. Photo radar doesn't count either.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I firmly believe that if you're a typical driver, the probability of your insurance company pulling your abstract is remote. Unless the insurance companies have cheap and direct access to the province's driver's records, it's gonna cost them money each time they get your abstract. They probably won't look you up every year unless you give them reason to.

Well I turned 25 yesterday! I just spoke with my insurance company and they adjusted my insurance.

Used to be $1660/yr for the stealth for full coverage with 2 mill.

Now it is $708/yr for the same coverage! So far, I like being 25!!

That's with a clean record (5 star rating) and an occupational discount!

i pay too much, 278 a month, for pl/pd/fire and theft.

The worst thing you can do to your insurance is let it laps. If you have no ceoverage for 6 months, it is like starting all over, no matter how long or how clean your record is.

f'ing scam.

I've been in one at fault accident I've got 5 tickets (3 speeding, 1 stop sign, and on illegal U turn) and I've had my insurance canceled before, and i've let it laps for about 8 months, even with all that i was quoted only $4000 a year.

So if you don't need coverage for more than 6 months, then should you retain the policy but only with fire/theft/vandalism?

Would this prevent your coverage from lapsing?
