hehe that is all.

Some of those early 1900's cars are fucking pimp. 30" wheels! And that '37 caddy is frickin' 22 ft long. Cars were soooooo huge back in the day.

Have pics of tons of Bugattis and more Ferraris, but they turned out blurry :(. No tripods allowed.

The next place you should visit is the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit. The last time I was there I was only 12 and I am sure I would appreciate it at a higher level now.

I have a stack of pictures that my dad took back in the day that I go through every now any again.

Yeah, 16cylinder.
Cadillac made a concept a couple years ago that was a newer version of the V-16.

That car is truely pimp!

Down in SFO again, so I paid another visit to Blackhawk, this time armed with my DSLR for better pics, and a tripod. They told me tripods weren't allowed last time, sure enough, they weren't allowed this time either. They did tell me that monopods, oddly enough, were allowed. So I told them I would not extend the tripod out and use it as a monopod. Surprisingly, they said that was OK.

Anyways, a little disappointing this time around, they've lost 1/2 their cars (these cars are loaned to the museum by rich guys). I guess a lot of the owners sold the cars or took them home.

Anyways, a few interesting cars this time around. Really happy with my pics... looks WAY better with a real camera haha.

Porsche 959 Prototype. The only one left. The other 2 were crash tested.

This is a weird one... Italdesign Aztec. I believe this was in one of the need for speed games or test drive? The side is bizarre, it lists a bunch of crap about the car for maintenance purpose? I don't get it.

Good old MB 300SL Gullwing Coupe. Everyone knows this bad boy.

http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/blackhawk/07.jpg

Alfa Romeo B.A.T. 7, looks kinda like a bat mobile, kinda like speed racer's mach 5. Cared more about how I composed the shot lol.

http://www.virgeweb.com/rage2/blackhawk/08.jpg

1930 Bucciali. It's an autoshow chassis, the engine is just a hunk of metal, nothing inside. No cylinders, nothing. No floor either, which could only mean one thing... DANGER TO MANIFOLD!

I shot this car last time I was there... 1937 Caddy V16. I love this thing, it's about twice the size of an Escalade. Looks way better this time around thanks to a better camera.

And some random art in their exhibit to make up for the lack of cars. This is a model of Henry Ford's assembly line dream.
